music biz story.

once upon a time today, a singer-songwriter made a nice sum of money licensing a crazy song to a restaurant. the catch? this songwriter had no music publisher, no record label, no tour bus, no manager, no agent, no nothing. just genius songwriting ability and an outside-the-box marketing theory that just made him smile like the riddler in batman.

pssst. the 1992 music industry model is dead.  stop trying to crash through the wall. go around.
